  The insight of this film on growing old is astounding. Actually, its like Alzheimers backward, you become a child as you get older only in Benjamin's case it was physical. One of the finest films of Hollywood!!!

  Slumdog Millionaire deserves the awards period. Being an editor myself, I loved the way it was cut... the pacing and timing was just on point (it kinda reminded me of City of Gods). I believe the Obama win played a role in this movie winning the oscars...it (Slumdog Millionaire) revolving around themes of one coming from obscurity to the top (fresh story and well told).

  Loved the change of format of the Oscars. Liked seeing each nominee being recognized for their work on their film. Shots of old films woven in was great, too! Jackman was a good host and an excellent showman!
