  Why did this win the award? They only did one CG and it was so obvious in the film. "Prince Caspian" wasn't nominated. Dark Knight didn't even win. Sometimes, I couldn't understand how they judge it.

  the action movies should have won for sure..it's VISUAL effects!!!! why give it to the movie for making a guy look old? you give it to the one that gives you thrills and makes you wish you were the one racing the car or jumping off the buildings..the dark knight should have won for sure..especially for the part towards the end where batman chases the joker..brilliant!

• alright then
  i was surprised that this won against actual action movies... but i guess it makes sense because its much harder to make an old brad pitt look like an actual human rather than a badly done animation... in contrast to just making explosions go off and batman leaping off buildings as in the dark night.... but it was still shocking nonetheless

  They won the 8 oscars because they made a great movie. Oscars aren't given out to the people who have made the most movies but to the people who make the best movies. So how about you think before you talk there Ugo A.

  meg ur just ignorant. how can the cast of slumdog millionare just after one movie win 8 oscars? When wonderful actors and actresses and spend most of their lives 365 of the year to make good movies.
