Richard Jenkins is always excellent. I am cheering for both he & Melissa Leo. Solid, solid actors.

I loved Richard Jenkins' work in this film as I love Melissa Leo's in Frozen River. I think the accademy should take more risks and give other extraordinary actors like these two the chance to be recognized and seen by the big audience. Only then will the Academy really show a more fair face instead of perpetuating the idea that glamour equals quality. I don't have anything against glamour, anyway

Jenkins truly was great in The Visitor. A small movie but a skillfully made and affecting one. The scene where Jenkins confronts the guard in the facility where they are holding his friend is truly moving. This is one of the greatest performances in a long, long time.

A truly sold actor who finally gets his due. Once in a while the Academy gets one right.

I have admired Richard Jenkins since he did the father in Six Feet Under. He's the only actor I have ever seen who died in the first part of a series and had a great part in the show for the next four years. He has earned a lot of kuddos for solid work.

I have not seen The Strange Case of Tymothy Button, but according to the coments that I have read in the internet, and the quality of the actors in it, it promise to be a good one. Also the theme looks interesting.
