Too violent? Didn't Gladiator win Best Picture? Violence shouldn't have anything to do with a decision. This movie deserved to be both the nomination and the award for 'Best Picture,' I mean, it has everything- what other movie this year can boast such lofty claims?

This is a more deserving movie than what was nominated this year. It had everything. Good acting, good dialogue, and a great story (yea i said it). Alot of you think it was weak. I rank it up there with a Shakespearean tragedy.
