Read my lips: "g-r-a-n t-o-r-i-n-o"...... no one is even mentioning that this film exists! Is it up for next year? Am I missing something?????? How can this year's academy spout the virtues of tolerance and social impact, and yet be so hypocritical by black-balling this movie??? Oh, that's right- it's Hollywood liberalism at it's best. Did any of the academy even SEE the movie? Al

Where's Gran Torino??? A MUCH more relevant piece of work overall, and beautifully orchestrated, from writing to casting to attention to detail..... funny, touching, heartbreaking- Eastwood has really made it film-making. The only other ones I liked were Wall-E, Batman and Ironman!
