Here's the first acting award... Best Supporting Actor. Jennifer Hudson, the reigining Best Supporting Actress (not that you could tell from her TelePrompTer-reading ability) is here to give the award. All the money is on Javier (or as Regis Philbin called him in the pre-show "Ex-avier") Bardem. I think Philip Seymour Hoffman deserves the award but won't win. I'd be satisfied if Hal Holbrook wins and I thought Tom Wilkinson was just a bit too "Hey, I'm crazy" crazy. Casey Affleck should have been nominated for "Gone Baby Gone" instead.
And the Oscar goes to...
Javier Bardem.
Well, most people are doing well in their Oscar pools now.
And so far, if the Oscars worked like the NHL All-Star game, it would be a blowout for the International team vs. the USA.

Bollocks. Tough category though. Tilda wins her second award of the night (the first being for ugliest dress).
