Fawning with the Stars (Live Blogging #2.5)

Posted Sun, Feb 24, 2008, 4:07 PM

Hoping to break the spell, I've switched over to TV Guide Channel.  Immediately I see the difference.  They have taken drooling over stars to an entirely new level. Correspondents Joey Fatone and Lisa Rinna, best known for losing a dance contest, look like they may burst through their respective facial hair and collagen with every mention of an actual celebrity's name.

A quick flip over to ABC finds local Los Angeles correspondents and enemies of SpellCheck Michelle Tuzee and George Pennacchio stepping up to the national stage.  George seems right at home, but poor Michelle just couldn't get herself an umbrella, a coat, a hat, or a canopy for her "sky bridge" perched high above the red carpet.  High above and far away.  You could probably have a better look using the GPS on your cell phone.  She swears she just saw George Clooney.  Or it could have been a trash can.

Back on TV Guide, Lisa has found a friend.  I missed the first part of the interview, but at the end, I learned that Lisa Rinna and Kristin Chenoweth love and adore each other. Lisa is praying for Kristin.  I'm sure she appreciates it.
