Is It Just A Dream? (Live Blogging #2)

Posted Tue, Jan 22, 2008, 5:59 AM

The announcement of the nominees are scheduled to begin in five minutes. I know I'm a little out of it, but I don't see anything on TV about it yet.

E! is still showing its co-opted wall-to-wall financial coverage named after the mayor of New York.

TV Guide Channel is running an infomercial for a $275 weight loss book.

The news channels are shockingly covering... news! There's that other big contest in America and -- even more shockingly -- things that are happening outside America.

Really, I may be dreaming.

  • What, no Britney? Britney, Britney, all the time, 24-7. I guess for a few days, they'll ratchet down "coverage" of her so they can milk poor Heath Ledger's death for all the exploitation and minutiae they can. Wait a minute ... E! now shows financial coverage?
